The drone positioning system at the universal cargo station.
For the successful operation of the entire system, it is important to position the drone as accurately as possible above the cargo reception window. Modern controls allow you to land the drone fairly accurately. But external weather conditions and air flows from the station's landing site will not allow this to be done as accurately as possible. All exactly deviations will be many centimeters from the target. In order to put the drone in its place and also fix it on the station site so that it would not be blown away by a gust of wind, an alignment and fixation system is needed. The solution to this problem is indicated in my patent RU (11) 2,819,277 (13) C1.
The positioning and fixation system consists of parts on the drone and on the station site. There are grips on the drone supports that can also play the role of a shock absorber when landing a drone, as well as moving grips on the site itself. I will attach diagrams and drawings later as the rest of the materials are published.
What the scheme looks like in practice can be seen on the example of a drone 250 250 mm racing drone
